A clever idea, but without a widespread and expensive PR campaign, it can never to anywhere. And unfortunately, only mega-corporations can afford the kind of advertising and PR campaigns one would need to sell such a visionary idea aimed at subverting corporate power. A better use of our energy might be to organize locally--to relocalize our economies by growing gardens, growing community, and growing awareness. It would cost very little, but if this idea went viral, just imagine the looks on the faces, for example, of Exxon, Monsanto, or Pepsi Cola when vast number of people simply stopped buying their products because they no longer wanted or needed them?
