A dark vision indeed! But this electronically mediated virtual reality won’t last long, since it depends on a vast electrical infrastructure that in turn requires a huge investment of cheap net energy — fossil fuels — which are already creating havoc on Gaia. And as you well know, Gaia is the “operating system” not only for our civilization and consciousness, but for our bodies as well. No water-no food-no life. So our best bet, as Gaians, is to start where we are, get out of our devices and into our gardens. Grow Gardens, Grow Community, Grow Awareness. It’s all we can do.
