Actually, he has done a lot; established multiple charitable foundations and pumped millions into worthy causes. And just being super-rich, contrary to popular opinion, does not give him or anyone else carte blanche to right all the wrongs of the world. That is extremely naive. Once again, we agree in principle that the institution of monarchy is a joke. But everyone, Charles included, is constrained by his or her position in life, and the encombrances thereof, with regard to the good they can accomplish. As Sophocles once said, "Den uparchei anthropos pou einai eleutheros." ("There is no human being who is entirely free.")
