Amen! Well said. This is why I have devoted the remainder of my life (since I am retired and getting old) to propagating Gaian consciousness as effectively as possible. Gaian consciousness consists of two complementary aspects, reflected in the Buddhist Eightfold Path: (1) Right understanding and aspiration (awareness that we are a part of, not apart from, “nature” or Gaia, which is a complex adaptive system, not just a “resource” to turn in to commodities for profit — and thence into “waste”) and (2) Right action, effort, livelihood, and mindfulness through Gaian praxis, manifested as Permaculture design, recycling everything, growing gardens, growing community, and growing awareness through learning Gaia, teaching Gaia, healing Gaia, and creating a Gaian future—our only alternative to No Future.
