An astute analysis, as always (despite your easily avoidable errors in grammar and usage, but that's just me--an old, worn out former English professor!)
But to the point, Given all that you say to be unarguably true--which it is, what should we do now, as individuals, to cope?
My short answer is always the same: Grow gardens, grow community, grow awareness. This will not save us from our entropic fate, of course, but with some luck, it will reduce suburban alienation and build local resilience and--if it goes viral--perhaps regional, national and global resilience as well. The net effect could be a softer landing, once peak oil is reached and the energetic, mineral, economic, and sociopolitical infrastructures we now take for granted all collapse...An abrupt shift from denial to panic otherwise awaits us--not a happy thought!
