Analogies are not homologies. Trump is not exactly like Hitler because America is not like Germany in the 20s & 30s. But the analogies are nevertheless obvious to the unblinkered observer. Both are shameless malignant demagogues who have created fanatically devoted personality cults in a naked effort to subvert democracy and institute tyranny.
