(Answering myself) Unless what? Here is one idea that I am pursuing and that anyone else can pursue as well. Reach out to trusted friends (no more than 10 or so) to form a Satyagraha Study Group. In this group, you read and discuss books and articles on nonviolent resistance to evil, and use these to strategize. The three I’m starting with are (1) On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder; (2) Gandhi on Nonviolence, an anthology of short quotes from Gandhi’s writings selected and edited by Thomas Merton; and (3) From Dictatorship to Democracy by Gene Sharp. For each, you can prepare PowerPoint presentations to guide your discussion group.

Meet twice monthly or so, just to build resilience and solidarity, and encourage everyone in your group, when they feel ready, to “bud off” and establish their own Satyagraha Study Groups. Use all these groups to strategize effective means of nonviolent resistance to Trump’s tyranny. You can meet in person or online, but personal meetings are safer, since they are under the radar of mass surveillance by the fascists. MAKE THIS IDEA GO VIRAL! The bastards won’t know what hit them!
