Everything you say here is entirely accurate, but I'm afraid that the way you say it can only reach people (like me) who already know how bad the situation is, and why--not "capitalism" per se (a grossly overused and imprecise concept) but simply the incompatibility between an economy based on money (arithmetic) that depends on endless growth of production, consumption, and population--and a finite, living planet on which we all depend that is not growing any bigger. Everyone else who encounters this will dismiss it as a "left wing rant"--in which case you have accomplished nada. The alternative--one that I am pursuing--is an invitational approach: encouraging people to relocalize commerce and life itself by growing gardens, growing community, and growing awareness. After all, if WE stop buying their stuff (including gasoline) and cultivate resiliency and self-reliance, THEY will collapse...
