Everything you say is true. The most important epistemic shift we need to make is from Glomart-logic (More is always better and "nature" is nothing but a "resource" for humanity to convert into sellable commodities at will) to Gaia-logic (Enough is enough, and humanity is a part of, not apart from, Nature, our biological support system). To the exact degree that we translate that epistemic shift into praxis (regenerative design or permaculture), our innate intelligence enables us to shift from a parasitic to a symbiotic relationship with our biological support system. This can happen from the bottom up: growing gardens, growing community, and growing awareness.
