Good observation. Unfortunately, ALL politicians are beholden to powerful corporate interests—particularly fossil fuels—to finance their election campaigns, so they all must sing from the same hymnal, i.e. “More is always better…” So both parties are corporate whores; the difference is that the Dems are corporate whores out of necessity while the Repubs are corporate whores as a matter of principle. That is our choice.
