I agree 100 per cent. The challenge, as always, is this: How do we get there from here? Just theorizing about ecological economics will not do it; it will only reach people, like me, who are already on board. What we need are practical steps we all can take to transform our economy and culture from parasitic to symbiotic, from the ground up. For me the master key to this process in Permaculture: growing gardens, growing community, and (as a result of these) growing awareness in the broader population of what you and I and others here already know. It is still a long shot, of course, but it starts where we are.
