I agree entirely, Dave. Fundamentalists cling desperately to beliefs and are compelled to convert everyone else due to a lack of faith. If you define “faith” as trust in the Sacred (however you define it), rather than “belief” in an arbitrary set of question-begging claims set forth in an ancient, prescientific anthology of stories (the Bible), then you are no longer compelled to convert anyone; instead you can say “you are welcome to worship as you wish; I ask only that you return the favor.”
