I like and admire Joe Biden, unlike many or most of us, but I agree entirely with your position. He saved our nation from the criminal fascist walking dumpster fire (Trump) and in that respect, he has done us all a great service. And except for the perfidy of Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema, he could have been another FDR… But he is 78, and looks every day of it. It is time to bow out gracefully, his honorable legacy intact, rather than losing to some scurrilous young fascist like DeSantis and becoming the butt of every joke, as our once-great nation disappears into the vortex of fascism…
