I, too, wish Biden would have the courage and grace to retire, and make room for younger aspiring leaders, but I think you are vastly underestimating him. He's a crafty old fox, who knows the political game inside and out, having spent 50-odd years as an elected official. And I have no reason to doubt that he is essentially a man of principle and good character, with a genuine sense of compassion for ordinary people. Voters ( who haven't poisoned their souls with MAGA mania) will see this, and with or without enthusiasm, will vote for him, to prevent the horrific catastrophe of Trump (the Sequel).

And while the Republicans have gone all-out fascist in their fawning adulation of the lying criminal psychopath whose feet they lick, you greatly underestimate how deeply hated Trump is by vast number of other voters--not only women, minorities, and youth, but also normal folk of all kinds who can tell a monster when they see one.
