Thank you, Craig. This was a thoughtful and poignant reflection on impermanence, the sobering reality that we are all, as Buddhists often say, "of the nature to get sick, grow old, die, snd lose everyone and everything we ever cherished." The remaining consolation in all this is that "our actions are our only true possessions." And the best actions are those rooted in love and compassion.

But as you say, this does not allay the pain and grief of loss. Only time can do that, but those we loved and lost will always be a part of us; people whose memories we cherish.
