Thank you for sharing this disturbing article. Based on my own limited experience with Canada (mostly vacations or visiting friends) I had naively assumed that Canada was largely free of the toxic, neofascist madness that has infected my own country (US) and threatens to destroy our democracy. I grieve to discover that this political pestilence has spread north. Time for all decent, caring people—north and south, east and west—to resist this epidemic of hatred and willful ignorance in whatever ways we can!
