Thank you for sharing this, Will. I’m never one to give up hope altogether, but I’m getting close. The big question I have here is, who are “we”?? Ordinary informed and thoughtful citizens like us are a rarity, and we have no real power or influence over the easily brainwashed masses nor the entirely self-serving, short-sighted power elite (corporate and political). Our best bet, in my view, is (1) to plan for the worst while (2) speaking truth to power relentlessly and (3) growing gardens, community, and awareness, wherever we are. And maybe, just maybe, enough of us will survive the Great Die-off to start the intergenerational healing process…
