Thank you for your wise take on our global predicament. I resonate entirely with your general outlook of acceptance and resignation to the inevitable collapse of our global market economy and technological society. Only I’m not sure the process will take as long as you suggest it will. Converging systemic failures tend to accelerate over time, reinforcing one another through runaway feedback loops. We are already seeing this self-acceleration in the recent climate phenomena where rates of ice melting, methane release, drought, flooding, and wildfires far exceed our best predictions. So all bets are off; we must cope the best we can with accelerating trauma, and embrace impermanence as best we can.
