Thank you, Gladys, for sharing your experience of that horrific day. And please don't be taken in by the notion that any of us suffer from an irrational "Trump Derangement Syndrome." This is nothing but gaslighting--the psychological ploy by which victims who are outraged by abuse are made to feel as if somehow their outrage itself is pathological, rather than the abuse that caused it. The only victims I know of "Trump Derangement Syndrome" are Trump himself and his deranged supporters, especially those republicans--like Lindsay Graham, for example, who had previously denounced Trump, seeing him for the repulsive, contemptible blowhard he is, but then, as Trump's toxic charisma took hold of voters, did a complete flip-flop and kowtowed to him. These people are more rightfully described as victims of Trump Derangement Syndrome, much like cult followers who worship their abusive leaders.
