And it is not "more toxic" but rather it traps 25 times as much solar radiation as CO2, making it a much more potent greenhouse gas. But it also does not last as long--it degrades more quickly than CO2. None of this negates your overall point, of course, but it is important for us all to be rigorously accurate in our claims, lest we make ourselves vulnerable to the corporate-funded climate deniers out there who are looking for any excuse to discredit us.
