The one addition I would make to your excellent list of suggestions is this: Learn how to grow your own food. Gardening--especially Permaculture-style gardening that works with and enhances biodiversity and resilience--is deeply healing, not only on an individual level, but also because it draws you closer to your neighbors (especially when you share your surplus tomatoes or zucchini). This is why my own encapsulated slogan for these dire times is this: Grow Gardens, Grow Community, and Grow Awareness.
