These right-wing shills and hate mongers are poisoning the well of public discourse at the very moment in our history when public discourse grounded in scientific reality and the public interest is essential to our collective survival. Collectively, we’re doomed: there’s no future left that anyone would actually want to inhabit, or wish upon our children. Individually, our best bet is to get busy growing gardens, growing community, and growing awareness — and we can start by turning off our televisions and dedicating the time we have left to learning, teaching, healing, and creating: that is, regenerating our community and biosphere one backyard at a time.
