What a crock! It is a FACT that CO2 traps infrared heat reflected from solar radiation, preventing it from dissipating into space and causing the mean global temperature to rise.
It is a FACT that within my lifetime (1950-2024) the level of CO2 in our atmosphere has spiked from 300 to 420 ppm, whereas the average high point in the long carbon fluctuations over the last 800,000 years (as measured in Antarctic ice cores) is 280 ppm, and the current rate of increase exceeds anything in the known geological record, starting with the Industrial Revolution and accelerating ever since with the global expansion of fossil fuel dependence…Put these two facts together with the tsunami of evidence across the globe in record high temperatures, record wildfires, floods, droughts, sea level rise, and catastrophic storms, and global die-offs of coral reefs from heated oceans and acidification from dissolved excess CO2 in the oceans. And may you live just long enough to be cursed by your starving children!
