What about the Arabs? They were kidnapping and enslaving black Africans even before the Europeans got into this vile game. And they (or at least their ruling class) have lots of oil revenues available. I’m all for reparations to all oppressed peoples, not in the form of tax-funded direct payments (which will only incur rage and resentment from other ethnicities, leading directly to more racist scum like Trump or DeSantis rising to power, to the detriment of all of us). Rather, the reparations should take the form of universal health care, free education, scholarship opportunities, police reform, alternatives to incarceration, and employment opportunities. Rent control might be useful as well—laws against frivolous evictions or providing rent-to-buy options…These are a few adaptive options for reparations, rather than blanket pay-outs based only on skin color.
