You are entirely right, of course, whether you call yourself a pantheist or (as I do) a Gaian Buddhist. Identity Labels like these are irrelevant, however. What is important is that we REALIZE and not just “believe” that we are a part of, not apart from, the living Earth, and that nature is not just a “resource” for our exploitation, but a system of which we are a part; or as MLK put it, an “inescapable network of mutuality.” And that this is self-evidently true at every level: physical, biological, social, economic, and spiritual. No labels or beliefs necessary!
