You are right on target here. Trump, like Hitler and Goebbels and Stalin and Mao—and most likely other historical monsters like Napoleon, Timurlane, and Genghis Khan—has a toxic charisma borne of his extreme malignant narcissism that enables him to hijack the mlnds and souls of his devotees and transform them into extensions of his own boundless ego. Such “Dark triad” personalities, combining pathological narcissism with vindictive sadism and deviousness and dishonesty, are the most dangerous people on the planet, especially when they get the power they crave above all else.
