You have a lot of knowledge and many insights here, but your animus against Biden is foolish. The Afghanistan catastrophe is directly traceable to Trump's agreement with the Taliban to remove US troops by a fixed date--all without any participation from the Kabul government. So while the catastrophic outcome was badly handled, it would not have happened if Trump had not essemtially invited the Taliban to be ready to take over the day he had agreed to withdraw US troops. And the whole catastrophe would not have happened at all if Bush had not invaded Afghanistan and Iraq--there we agree. I personally think that Biden is doing a commendable job in managing an almost impossible dilemma--coordinating our NATO allies in shipping ever more powerful and precise weapons to Ukraine without stepping over the line and triggering World War III--and nuclear armageddon--with a paranoid dictator.
