Your argument about the sanctity of the "chain of command" might have been defensible before January 6. But when a "president" has deliberately instigated a mob insurrection against his own government, any such legalistic concerns are no longer relevant. NOBODY should feel bound to follow ANY executive orders from a proven traitor! And Pelosi was right to make sure that his status as "Commander in Chief" is no longer acknowledged at the Pentagon! The "chain of command"--necessarily suspended due to a psychotic, raging traitor in the White House-- can resume after January 20!
