Your persistent denial is ridiculous. Trump instigated this insurrection from the start, after all his legal challenges to Biden’s decisive victory had been thrown out of court for lack of evidence, and after his Mafioso-like efforts to pressure Georgian officials into “finding” imaginary votes had likewise been rebuffed. So had no recourse left but to repeat his big lie incessantly and foment an insurrection attempt by his most rabid followers—many os whom carried zip ties with the clear intent of kidnapping and executing elected officials. Yet Trump refused to call the National Guard, and instead issued a double message encouraging these thugs while only seeming to call them off. This was a blatant attempt at a violent coup d’etat! It failed only because of his own pathetic incompetence. If a Democratic President has tried this, you can be sure that every Republican in the nation would be calling for instant impeachment, conviction for high treason, and execution. And the vast majority of Democrats would agree! We would be united as never before! So please—no more lame excuses for outright treason!
